Our guiding principles:

  1. The Board and Committee Chairs will do whatever the majority of the Homeowners want (unless it is unsafe, possess great liability to the HOA, or has a great potential to reduce property value in Carillon community).
  2. The Carillon website will be used as the primarily communication tool.

Here are some links to important HOA documents:

in front of a public or private driveway, within 15 feet of a fire hydrant, or at any place where official signs prohibit parking,

Voting procedures
The current Bylaws require 250 people to vote in order to hold an election.  The Bylaws also require every vote (including proxys) to be turned in within 2 envelopes.  Many people have expressed a desire to change the Bylaws to alleviate these problems.  The procedure to change the Bylaws is to:

  1. Draft amendment
  2. Draft and approve resolution adopting amendment
  3. Provide 14 day written notice of meeting for Homeowners to vote
  4. Hold meeting with quorum (250 Homeowners) 5)  Approval of 50% + 1 Homeowners

Scooters/ATV's/Go-Peds
Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Safety Advisory, Operation of All-Terrain Vehicles, Scooters & Go-Peds:

For those of you who responded to the survey, the results will be posted on this site once the survey results have been tabulated. For those of you that indicated you would serve on a committee, your name and phone number will be passed on to the Committee Chair. You should be hearing directly from them.

Seminole County Sheriff's Office Community Safety Advisory: Operation of All-Terrain Vehicles and Go-Peds: In our continuing effort to ensure the safety of all citizens of Seminole County and with the increased amount of traffic on public and private roadways, your local deputies would like to address and important safety concern.

Some confusion exists on the legal operation of all-terrain vehicles. These vehicles most often include three or four wheelers, dirt bikes, go carts, and go-peds.

The operation of any of the above-mentioned all-terrain vehicles on a public roadway, a private roadway accessible by the public, county right-of-way or upon a sidewalk is illegal. Should you do so, you are subject to being issued traffic citations, and possibly arrest.

These all-terrain vehicles are also called "off-road vehicles" which should remind you they are to be driven off of the road, not on the road.

Also, please note that it is illegal to operate on public streets and sidewalks motorized scooters.
